Interview Update
We have completed almost 100 Life Course Interviews!
Analysing Life Course Interviews
We are planning co-analysis workshops to understand the Life Course Interviews.
We will work with co-researchers to understand the things people have told us.
Place Study Update
We have sent out nearly 30 tablets for the Place Study so far.
Jacqui, Shaun, Hannah, and Jo have made a video about the Place Study.
This video shows participants how to do the Place Study. We will send this video to participants soon.
Organisational Interview Update
We have done 20 Organisational Interviews so far.
These are when we meet people who work in different organisations.
We want to find out how these organisations include people with learning disabilities.
Congratulations Richard
Richard has won an award from the ESRC to do a project with LGBT+ co-researchers.
This will let him do a project with LGBT+ co-researchers called:
"Co-producing three workshops to evaluate the effectiveness of creating age-friendly intergenerational toolboxes".
Laura Met with Members of the Scottish Government
Laura attended a meeting with members of Scottish Government.
They discussed challenges faced by older people.
Laura shared what we have learned from the interviews we have done.
Fiona Gave a Talk at Simon Fraser University
On 1st November, Fiona Dobbie gave an online lecture at Simon Fraser University, Canada.
It ass about Social Network Mapping and how we can use maps of people's networks in research.
Jacqui Attended an Event in Leeds
Jacqui attended the International Day of Older People event at Headingly Stadium in Leeds on the 1st of October.
She met people from many different organisations who were interested in IncludeAge.
Research Presentation
On 7th November, Richard will give a presentation at the Midlands Graduate School.
It will be about working with co-researchers in a long project like IncludeAge.
