Keeping in Touch with Our Community

IncludeAge newsletters are sent to you by email on the first Monday of every month.

The newsletter will have information about the project, activities and events.

It will also tell you about ways to participate in the project.

Welcome Dr. Mei Lan Fang back to IncludeAge!

Dr. Mei Lan Fang is coming back to IncludeAge.

Mei started the project but went on maternity leave in June 2023.

She is now an Assistant Professor in Urban Studies in Simon Fraser University in Canada, but will continue work on IncludeAge.

Welcome Dr. Laura Roe to IncludeAge!

Dr. Laura Roe is a new member at IncludeAge.

She recently joined the University of Dundee in Scotland as a lecturer.

She is a co-lead on Part 5 of IncludeAge's activities.

Getting Project Participants

Thank you to our partner organisations and all the people who have helped us find participants.

They have worked very hard and we now have 43 participants.

We want to get 50 participants by the end of April 2024.

Interviewing Project Participants

We have done 43 interviews so far.

34 of these are with people who are LGBT+.

9 of these are with people with Learning Disabilities.

Outreach

Commitment to Outreach

Reaching groups, people, and organisations which want to make communities better for older people is very important to IncludeAge.

We have opportunities for you to tell us about your experiences with inclusion and exclusion in your community.
