News Updates

IncludeAge Participant Interviews

Our interviews are going well. We have 19 full transcriptions of our first interviews, with a further 17 interview audio files sent away at the beginning of May for transcription. IncludeAge PI Judith Sixsmith and IncludeAge Postdoctoral Research Fellow Joe Tai will be travelling to the Isle of Skye to interview some participants with Learning Disabilities next week.

IncludeAge Data Analysis

Our team approach to data analysis has begun after some core team members attended a very useful workshop in Newcastle in April. In this initial data analysis workshop, we looked at excerpts of interview transcripts and discussed our approach to analysis moving forward.

IncludeAge Data Generation

We are progressing well with finalising the next stage of data generation which involves designing Social Network Maps. We are beginning to design the organisational interviews for the final phase of data generation. 

IncludeAge Participant Recruitment

Participant recruitment continues both in England and Wales, and in Scotland. We are especially looking for more participants based in Scotland, so do please circulate information about the project to anyone you can think of (organisations or individuals) who might be interested in supporting recruitment.

IncludeAge PI Judith Sixsmith is collecting information from associated projects to feature on the website. Please send Judith (j.sixsmith@dundee.ac.uk) a summary, if you are or have been, involved in any projects you would like to showcase on the IncludeAge website.

Please send Judith the project name, funder (if any), dates of the project, and a short description of the aim and work involved. Please also include a link to your project specific website if you have one.
