Liverpool Event
On the 23rd and 24th May, 15 members of the IncludeAge team met at Liverpool John Moores University.Discovery group had a very good discussion about Human Rights.
Our co-researchers had some training on Social Network Mapping.This is the next part of our project.
It is about understanding how people in our lives help us feel included.
Visit to Isle of Skye
Judith and Joe visited a Learning Disability support organisation called Kyleakin Connections.This is on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
The people at Kyleakin Connections were lovely.Judith and Joe did four interviews with people with learning disabilities there.

Destination Dundee
Judith and Joe went to an event called Destination Dundee.
We learned about challenges faced by people with learning disabilities.
We also learned about how to include people with learning disabilities in the community.
Values into Action Scotland Event
Laura and Joe went to an event about the importance of relationships for people with learning disabilities.
The event was held in Glasgow and organised by Values into Action Scotland.
Making Links with Scottish Government
Judith and Laura met with members of the Scottish government to talk about our work with learning disabilities.
The Scottish government is interested in how our research can help them make better policies.
Interviews Completed
We have done 62 interviews already.More have been planned.
We have started Work Package 3.This is where we work to understand the things people have told us in interviews.
