Equality and Human Rights Commission Scotland Visit

Judith is meeting with people from the Equality and Human Rights Commission Scotland in September.

They want to know more about our project.

We will share the things we have learned with them.

Congratulations to Marianne.

She has passed her PhD exam.

This means she is now a doctor!

Congratulations Susan!

Congratulations to Susan Buell.

She has been promoted to a Senior Lecturer in the University of Dundee.

Welcome Joanna!

Welcome to Joanna Gregory-Chialton.

She has joined IncludeAge.

Joanna is a new researcher at Liverpool John Moores University.

She will work with Jacqui, Joe, and our Learning Disability co-researchers.

University of Dundee Talk

Richard, Sallie, Rory, Martin and Phil gave a great talk at the University of Dundee.

It was about what we have learned from our LGBT+ interviews.

Everyone enjoyed it very much.

Presentation in Sweden

Kathryn delivered a presentation in Sweden.

This was about how older LGBT+ people experience ageing in their communities.

She used information we learned from our life course interviews.

LGBT+ Organisation Event

Grace and Leon held an event for LGBT+ organisations in Scotland.

We learned a lot about how to help include older LGBT+ people in communities.

We also learned about the difficulties in including them.

Place Study

We have started the Place Study.

We have given out five tablets to participants.

More participants have volunteered to do it as well.

Scottish Parliament Connection

Judith has joined the Scottish Cross Party Group for Older People, Age and Ageing.

This is a group in Scottish Parliament.

They explore difficulties faced by older people.

Judith will share what we have learned in our research.

Connections in Dundee

Joe has attended two Advocating Together meetings in Dundee.

Advocating Together is an organisation that supports people with learning disabilities.

The members were very nice and friendly.

They shared some stories with Joe and volunteered to take part in IncludeAge
