Data Generation Update

We have now completed more than 80 Life Story Interviews.

We have sent out our first 16 tablets for the Place Study with more being set up every week.

We are in the final stages of getting ethical approval for our next phase. We are preparing to begin recruitment of people to take part in our Organisational Interviews, and our Social Network Mapping.

We are Looking for More Participants!

We are still looking for more people to take part in our project. If you, or someone you know is 40 or over, lives in Scotland, England or Wales, has a learning disability or is LGBT+ and interested in taking part in the study, do get in touch with us by replying to this email, or using our Contact Form.

Outreach

Susan and Darren Presented at a Conference in Chicago

Darren and Susan attended the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) Conference in Chicago this month and presented on the IncludeAge project. Susan spoke about inclusion of people with learning disabilities in a mainstream project, and Darren spoke about inclusion in digital spaces and places. Both presentations were well received and people were interested in what we are doing with our project.
