The IncludeAge project takes the privacy of your information very seriously and respects browser settings for privacy control.
We use our WordPress website to host and manage our e-newsletter service. When you subscribe to our e-newsletters, we ask for your name and a valid e-mail address. This is the minimum amount of information we need to fulfill your subscription request.
The newsletter has an option that allows you to cancel or modify your subscription preferences at any time. “Unsubscribe” requests are fulfilled promptly, and no further communications will be sent to you.
We WILL NOT make any personal information about our subscribers available to any third party except as required by law. Our WordPress website stores all the subscribers’ data inside the WordPress newsletter database, and does not transfer any data to any services. WordPress outlines what specific information is gathered on their site and how that information is used.
Why do we use them?
As done with other websites, to help improve this site we may place small data files, known as cookies, onto your computer.
Our cookies aren’t used to identify you personally. They’re just used to make the site work better for you. They do this by:
- Remembering how you like things displayed.
- Measuring how you use the website so we can make sure it meets your needs.
- Ensuring the website works properly.
- Improving navigation.
Types of cookies we may use on our website
- First party cookies are cookies our website places on your device.
- Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting.
- Temporary session cookies track you during a browsing session. The session ends when you close the browser window.
- Persistent cookies will stay on your device after you close your web browser. They remember your preferences when you access our site again.
Many organisations and websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service. It allows us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they’re using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example by making sure users are finding what they need easily.
The IncludeAge project may from time to time change this Privacy Statement as new services are added or old ones changed. Please review this statement regularly for updates.
